Wills & Trusts

Wills

If you die without having made a Will the State decides what happens to your wealth. This may well leave your loved ones in a costly, uncertain and stressful position at the worst possible time.

By writing a Will, clients put themselves in control of how their wealth is ultimately distributed and give themselves the peace of mind which comes with knowing they have done everything they can for those they care about the most.

It is never too early to make a Will but it is often left too late!

Trusts

Trusts can be set up for a variety of reasons:

– To control and protect family assets

– When someone is too young to handle their affairs

– When someone can’t handle their affairs because they are incapacitated

– To pass on money or property while you are still alive

– To pass on money or assets when you die under the terms of your Will

– Under the rules of inheritance that apply when someone dies without leaving a valid Will (England and Wales only)
